On 19th August 2015, a new record has been made.
Our Angler, Atoy landed an 11.6kg monster giant trevally with
Rod: Xzoga PE1
Reel: Shimano Aernos FB 4000
Line: Tuffline 20lbs
Leader: Dam 40lbs flurocarbon
Lure: SAME Minnow jig #01 60g
The fight that lasted for 30 minutes. Picture shows Atoy with his prized catch.

This is a new record for GT after Shukor's last catch, which is an 8kg GT in 2014.
